i say that the people who say the Holocaust never happened....are just as evil as the people who caused the Holocaust....

Where was God...he was there with the victims and the survivors of the Holocaust....he was their with the evil people who caused the Holocaust...trying to get them to release those evil thoughts and choices that they were choosing to make...

it all comes back to choice... we as human beings make choices, and he as God, just accepts our choice...and endures all the consequences that we endure...but his pain is greater...because he endures all the good feelings and all the pain that EVERYONE endures...

can you imagine that...enduring all the pain and hurt of your life AND all the pain and hurt of just all your friends here on DS...
how would you feel then?

and yet he just loves us as his children...

(Just so I didn't confuse anyone, I actually DO believe in God, Jesus Christ, the Virgin Birth, the Bible, all that).

I remember feeling like this when my mum was dying on life support, I understand where you are coming from, even tho my prayers were not much more than "please" I felt let down, someone or something should have made it better.
I don't think telling you off for feeling the need to blame or lash out at someone helps I think it's better than lashing out at hte people around you who are also worried.

This gal just wanted to come and vent like ALL of us do here on this board from time to time and just because some people just can NOT stand the fact that their "beliefs" are not coddled they have to give her grief? She is suffering enough grief without being preached at.

I believe in God myself and I also don't think God allows stuff to happen but I have sure blamed Him a time or two myself. It's human nature to do so. If this is what she believes then who the hell am I to tell her she is not correct in her feelings?

Get off your high horses and let the girl grieve the way she wishes. If you don't like the content, don't respond....simple as that.

If you want to be mad at something, be mad at the illness. Don't be mad at people or God (especially one you don't believe exists.)

The thing is, why blame something or someone that you just stated does not exist? It is purely inflammatory to do so. I don't blame people or deities for my problems. It is the choices I made, and other people made that made me the way I am.

I agree with Kaino... it wasn't supposed to be a debate. Jenn is really upset and I don't think you're helping her very much by criticising.

I'm just curious why any christian would be jumping all over her for questioning god. I'm sure most of you have before, believer or non believer. I'm not sure but who was tested by God in the bible was it Moses or someone? I remember a 'historical' (Smirk) bible figure questioning god very heavily. Her post isn't paticularly offensive (at least I can't see how) and if it helps her to vent, let it go. No need to go all nazi telling people how to think.
