We always appreciate your feedback, and we understand your concerns.
Each member brought for review is evaluated closely on a case by case basis, and members are typically given multiple warnings before a permanent ban is issued. We review each report submitted with scrutiny, and investigate abuse not just on the discussion boards, but in private messages, hugbooks, and other areas of the site.
Please remember that every single abuse report we receive is investigated by DS personnel, and a member will not be issued a warning unless he/she has violated the Rules of the Road: http://www.dailystrength.org/help/rules-of-the-road
We don't like to ban members, but we have a responsibility to enforce the rules to keep the site a positive place of support.

she should have sent a pm to me and then take it from there.
but posting it was another story.
it has showed me what a low person this was and she needs some help.
i dont care about what she had written but to post it was another thing.
if i'm upset with a person i wrote a pm, then delete then from friends.

i always watch what i say, but when others can post nasty things about you.........to everyone to see, thats a different story.
sending a pm is better than being posted up,letting everyone make nasty comments,and everyone can access it.
but then it comes back to sticks stones can break my bones but names will never hurt me.
but no one has a right to post nasty things.
they should use the code of ethics and pm things. like everyone out their who has problems with other people,is to pm them and work it out,or journal it.
post should be about getting better,getting stronger not be put on display.
in my head, i'm kicking their butts!

I have been gone (on vacation) & come back to this mess. I was not going to say anything, but I cannot let it go. ChronicIL should not be banned. I have been part of this community for a long time. Not a very active one, but still a member. At the beginning, things were not so "dramatic". All this "drama" is a lot more recent than Chronic's membership...look & see when all the trouble started. Who did it start with? I really don't know...I just do know that ChronicIL has always been supportive & straight forward (a.k.a. honest)....just like a good member of a "support group" should be. I hope you do a bit more investigating and then reconsider the ban. Thank you for listening Jessica.

I do not agree with the slap on the wrist that a person causing the most trouble gets while banning someone who stood up for everyone here and her own convictions.
Since DS made this a public forum/post, I do hope that Erika is allowed to come back to us all that miss her very much & not allow this to keep her from being apart from her best friends/supporters.
There are way too many of us that do support her and I have been nice and will continue to be to everyone here no matter what my personal feelings are towards anyone.
I guess we will never know who the great Oz is behind the DS curtain and what their theories are...at Area 51.
Must really hurt to loose someone so special:)
