And I echo your Friday remark. My DH and I were just saying last night that Friday doesn't come around often enough. Once a week just isn't cutting it.

9 blood tests taken and a chest xray... Have to wait about a month for the results. That's stressful!

New to this site, no visits to doc's for pain yet (2 months to get to rhuematologist - July 10!). These past two weeks are the first time constant pain has interfered with work. Get few hugs from husband, teen-aged sons and 18 month old 'honorary' grandchild, but only helps temporarily. (But I AM grateful to have them!) I feel like crying every morning at work now. Frustrated with home (I guess I used to be able to do it all and put up with mess and choas but can't cope with it anymore). No one in my life can understand what I am going through and I can't really talk to anyone as my husband is a defensive-reactor and my close friends have either moved away or have their own problems. I am the one that always helps everyone and I don't know where to go psychologically for myself. I am ready to move out and find a very small place for myself for some peace, but if it's pain talking, it would last. I hope it IS only the pain talking and I will soon find some relief. I will try my gratitude list and see if I can leave out the 'except for's.' Kathy

I have another appointment with the killer PT today. I hope it doesn't ruin my weekend because the weather is gorgeous here and supposed to be like this all weekend. See the pm doc Monday so hopefully get things straightened out one way or another.

Morning buddies and welcome Kathy. We certainly understand so you have come to the right place. My suggestion is not to give up on family just yet. They don't need to understtand in order for you to function in life and the alternative may seem great in the short term, but in the long run, can be dismal to suffer alone. If you have insurance to see a counsellor that can help you deal with chronic pain, then get help in sorting out your feeling and coming up with a plan. (Gentle hugs hun). Continue to post on the main CP board where there is more traffic and let all your feelings out.

I got my botox on monday so after 31 needles I'm stiff and can feel migraines trying to burst through, but the Imitrex is working now. Oh thank heavens for poison to cure ya!
