Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...
" See You in September" the "Happenings" 1965. My favorite version.

My son was married last weekend... we were blessed with a beautiful day and everything went perfectly to plan.
Because of the wedding I had my daughter and grandaughter come to stay with me for 5 days... they live 2,000 miles away so I rarely see them.
Then I went to stay at my sons for 5 days, to mind the cat while they honeymooned in Fiji.
So in between:
a) getting my house ready for guests, (which was a big cleaning and tidying job plus rearranging furniture to make room for them)
b) all the last minute "trying to make myself beautiful" appointments
c) spending as much time as possible with my 7yo grandaughter, and showing her some of my city as she hasn't visited here before
d) being away where I didn't have computer access
it all added up to 2 weeks away from DS.
I log into DS every day normally... even at times when I'm being a bit "quiet" I'm still here thinking about my friends and trying to follow what is happening in people's lives... so 2 weeks of not being able to get online made me miss this wonderful place very much!
To make up for being absent I am leaving a super huge pile of hugs here... along with a million smiles, lots of positive thoughts, some healing energy, many rainbows and enough sunshine to brighten every cpers day (it's the 2nd day of spring here, so we have plenty of sunshine to share!)... and wishes for minimal pain for all.
I hope that those who come along after me will take whatever will help you to feel a little better today. There is no rationing necessary, I'm sure I've left plenty of everything... so please take as much as you need.
Great to see some new people posting on this thread. I know it can feel difficult to "break the ice", but don't give up on trying to reach out to people here. It is so worth the effort to make some friends... and the members of this group are truly some of the most caring and supportive people on the planet.
Take care all... Gaye... xxx
It's good to have you back, Gaye...wow, you've been busy! It sounds like you had a wonderful time!
The weather couldn't be more perfect here and yet I haven't spent much time outside of my house. I guess it's proof that my Depression has nothing to do with the time of year...it just is what it is...
I'm going to try harder today.
Hugs...Cherry
Well at least I broke it into small bites... lol.
Happy, happy Spring to all the other members who live on my side of the planet.
I took the "Spring Walk" in the Sydney Royal Botanic Gardens twice in the last week. The tulips are lovely and the first few flowers were open on the Peach Blossom trees and on the Wisteria. Lots of other things blooming already.
I love spring! I will do lots of walks there over the next few months, as I'm lucky to live only 15 mins away, but I also have a goal for this spring of getting out and about to see (and photograph) lots of different gardens.
Sending gentle hugs and warm smiles to all,
take care... Gaye... xxx
Hello and welcome to the newcomers. You all make me feel so good

Did you ever think this would get 2861 replies? Such a cool post.
Sandy
I have sudden spells of being so dizzy and sleepy that I can barely focus my eyes. The night before, I got a fair amount of sleep and these spells were terrible all day so I can't attribute it to simply lack of sleep.
I have so much I should be doing, but I can barely get out of my own way. No amount of coffee wakes me up. At least it still tastes good!
Maybe I need to just sink into a pile of hugs...
