I'm here and up past my bedtime,,,glad to have found this board...looking for help for my 13 year old daughter who has rsd...life was so normal a few months ago, what happened. Everything upside down now.

So sorry to hear about your daughter Rebecca... RSD is a tough ride for anyone to have to take, let alone someone so young. I hope you have been able to find a good pain management specialist for her... from what I've heard here, early and aggressive treatment gives the best chance of bringing the pain level under control and stopping it spreading to other parts of the body.

There are quite a number of RSD sufferers here in the cp group... if you have any specific questions I'm sure you will get good advice and lots of support if you post a topic on the main board.

I need a huge hug cause I feel lost. I am having a very high pain day and its been stressful to boot. I feel like I have lost control of everything and don't know where to begin to pick up the pieces.

I Could really use some hugs today.. I am just not feeling well , back is hurting and foot has been burning when I walk its not so bad when I am just sitting.. I just feel my life slipping away emotionally all I want to do is hide away in my room.

The last few months I've felt pretty alone... All i do anymore is sit at home. I'm probably going to lose my job soon or have to quit. My doctor wants me to leave the salon I'm at because i have been nothing but miserable there.

I am here. I can say that much. I haven't showered in two days. It takes energy and effort. I have pain and fatigue. I will go and shower and get dressed and then will just plop down on the sofa as I am not having a good day. I took pain med but it seems it is not doing anything.

I usually feel great until I get done my shower. That is so exhausting.
