Chronic Pain Support Group
Physicians and professionalsdefine pain as chronic if it lasts longer than three to six months and is persistent. It's distinct from acute pain that is a direct result of injury or trauma. This support group is dedicated to those suffering from chronic pain. Discuss treatments that have worked for you, find advice for your specific experience, and find support. You're not...

what is the world makes people think CP'ers dont deserve pain meds for painful ear infections just becuase addicts and pill mills broke the law
i would be in jail if i left my dog in this kinda pain but we are allowed even encouraged to treat humans inhumanely
what a screwed up world
Hardly slept at all. Bad bad dreams. Eyes are puffy. Head is pounding non stop. Don't think I will make it through the day.
Still think I might be better off than some of you so sending a group hug. Nice to see you back, Hank, and always love seeing the regulars. So glad that David always returns.
(((Hugs))) all around!
I've just resurfaced from a 9-day meditation retreat and I feel better than I have in a long long time. It's very refreshing and restful and healing as well. You were all in my thoughts every day, sending you peace and relief. I hope everyone feels better.
Good to be back,
Ama
My pain wasn't to bad until last night , my hubby and I were goofing around and he accidently poked my low back with his foot . I screamed and began to cry . He managed to get me directly in the center of a trigger point . I've been in a major fibro attack since last night . It may be a day or two before I can get back here for any length of time . Been missing you guys . Be blessed Ravensong
I went to counselling with the Ex yesterday. He said he felt like I threw him under the bus. I think he is missing the point as he blamed my son for making him want to hit him. But, the counsellor did what I hoped and stressed over and over again what a bad idea it is for him to move back in with me and she asked him to come in for individual counselling. For me, she said I was doing fine and I agree. I'm keeping Jim on my insurance so he can do the counselling. It's all good for my welfare.
He is very mopey but now is talking about moving out of his son's place and getting a place of his own. That is progress.
Hugs to you all
