So mad at Xfinity! They're trying to charge me $115 per month for the same service I had been paying $50 the last four years. I took the equipment to UPS for shipping and cancelled my subscription today! Next door was a cookie shop called Crumbl. I had heard of it before but never went in until today. I don't need one more sugar fix, but maybe it will help with my sad) grieving heart....$15...

I know this is stupid, but after not being able to find a job after graduation for almost two years, I ended up just taking an online teaching job because I couldn't find anything in my field. I was trying to get out of teaching and I feel so devastated. I felt this crushing feeling when I signed the paperwork and when I was in the meetings. I know that sounds so dramatic but it is how I felt. It...

When I was well..I used to watch the cooking channel and get inspired to cook from scratch sometimes.land would enjoy it immensely if I was in that mood..

I so love cooking, but been a bit of a slacker the last month cause it's to cold to get the fingers to work 8-(....
Have a good day guys?
I am here...I am ok no pain med day so far...met this special person from my past this morning at 11am....SHE contacted me out of blue from 20yrs ago meeting when we played around on Telepersonals and she hosted a party of telepersonals....
That was a big ego booster I tell you because she was the blonde with hair on down to her butt....and skinny good looking in my eyes....(which always look at the gals hair first)
Well today I got to see what 20yrs does to a gal LOL.....she got hit by 20yrs of the aging stick!@LOL She no longer bleaches blonde and her hair is still long but not to her butt now and it was pulled up today too hot for down....and she has lost the figure of the girl she used to be by a mile....she looks human now LOL
Good thing is no complaints of pain from her and I was only taking my morning diabetic meds no pain pills so no complaining of pains from me either....we had a nice coffee and decided we want to go to movie together....she is single and out of 11yr relationship a year now...he dumped her after getting over his esophageal cancer that she babied and nursed him thru....then he said I am feeling pretty good now and I think I want to move out....so he moved into a duplex she owns and is now her tenant! LOL too bad for him now I am hopeful of her and I going someplace....haha
well I work tonight and it is again to Kirksville MO or 3 1/2hr drive from STL MO for me one way....so long night ahead...need to take nap before I start because I been up since 10am or thereabouts....night all
Hope your night goes well.
Good to hear you had a low-pain day.
..and that you've reacquainted with an old flame..:-) :-)

We have some great cooks here..as you've probably gathered..I'm not one of them.:-) :-)
I believe scones are quite a bit harder than our biscuits..maybe not with the cream added?
The gravy is..in my opinion..best made with bacon grease..and then just your basic white four gravy.
Some add breakfast sausage to it.
Serenity is going to hate this..but..have you never seen the Pillsbury Doughboy biscuits that come in a can that you " PO" open..heat..and serve?
They're like that..but homemade is FAR better.
Good morning to you..:-)

Yes, it's late to get in on a morning post...
Trying to catch up with you all. :) I had to jump in on the loss of keys.
One day my cat caught her nail on my "T' key & pulled it off. "*rying *o *ype wi*hou* a '*" key was pre**y *uogh *o do." :D Translation; Trying to type without a 'T' key was pretty tough to do. Luckily my mate was able to pop it back on later that day. I never have underestimated the power of T's since then. Oh, and if you ever get anything caught on a cats claw, always move the cat forward & down if you can, before you move it back or up. Those little hooks will get ya. :) I didn't think at the time, I just reacted & picked my cat straight up as soon as she jumped on my laptop, wrong move on my part. :) Pop goes the T!
Best wishes to you all. :)
Go* I*...forward and down before back and up.
You nu*.
Were you here when Heather didn't have " g" or " h" keys?
Bless her..she didn't let her stop her..
That's what the little stroll down memory lane with the missing keys was about..:-) :-)

here's a link on the difference

ideally biscuits are light and fluffy - they used to have a commercial about how they'd float off the pan...you know that crap they fed to us to make us want to stay in the kitchen and wear aprons and pearls...
gravy is another thing....i get serious about that. i know it doesn't photograph well, but i do have a pic, of course!!
