Ok, I'm sure this has probably been asked before and I'm looking for honest answers. Since we are or have been all in the same boat regarding divorce/separation/breakups, etc....would you ever consider getting remarried after going through such a trauma? If so, how long would you wait to do it? I'm really to the point where I don't think (no I know) I could ever trust anyone again..let alone date or get married to them. Just seeing what the opinions are out there.

But what is it in a person that makes them trustworthy....I mean, would you be able to tell by getting to know them that they can be trusted? hmmm
yes, I have trust issues. i feel like I have PTSD sometimes because he made me feel crazy, worried about him taking a f'in trip to CVS and never returning until 4am. Trauma is the right word. My family knows everything that happened. they are very, very Catholic. They have said go ahead and live with someone. we don't blame you if you never remarry. It was that bad. So no pressure from the folks! ha!
How long would you wait? um, until I felt like I could
a. trust him
b. wanted to spend the rest of my life with him
whenever that was, i would definitely try again. Is it on a to-do list? no. But I am open minded about it. People here have convinced me that it is about either taking a risk (another broken heart) or living alone. I hate being alone!!
