L ... don't leave unless it's what YOU want to do. You will be raising the kids as will I. Depending on your state, and your circumstances, possibly you'll be getting enough from him to help pay the mortgage until you're more stable on your feet. You just got a new job, right? Maybe he'll be paying you maintenance for a while.
