I think anyone anywhere can be cheated on. Nurturing people get cheated on but so do Workaholics.

Just a thought.

BTW I am a paid singer....When I start to sing people pay me to stop! I'm about to retire with the bribe money.

Sorry--didn't mean to offend all of the workaholics that have been cheated on too---I know that happens but after 26 years in healthcare--I've seen a very high percentage of nurses in abusive relationships. But you are right in that it can happen to anyone.

Dietitian. Stbx was also in health care though, nurse practitioner. Hmmm... He did the cheating and I didn't. He's also a workaholic.

Family law lawyer - try to help folks by keeping them out of court, if possible, and then help them to come to an agreement they can live with.

p.s. He wanted to be a doctor though and never got over the fact that he didn't go to med school. So... He doesn't count.

Was at one time a pre-school teacher, then case manager for Dept of Hum Serv for 12 years and now a case manager for people with traumatic brain injuries.

how about HOURS? do work hours make a diff?

I started working mainly 12-8am since our 3rd year... I wonder if that helped us go 24 years or not.

If I worked normal hours would we have split sooner, or not drifted?

I'm a tech manager.

Funny thing is, after the split, my job changed and required different hours with flexibility. Couldn't have done them if I was still with my family.
