When things get messed up, are when friendships turn into more then friendships. I wouldn't have a problem meeting someone from DS if that person lived close enough, but I've had some invitations from Rhoad Island, Texas, New York, and other such places, which they don't seem to understand, its not that I'm scared to meet people from here, far from it, but if I'm going to meet someone from here, its going to be in Warsaw Indiana, not Dallas Texas or providence RI or France or Germany er whatever.
You guys are all like family to me, and I love you all very very much, but I would never form a serious relationship with any of you, only because you guys are too far away. its not internet relationships that don't work, its long distance relationships that don't work. Its hard to tell people that here because I don't like to hurt other peoples feelings, but that is the truth of the matter.
well for instance, I met someone from myyearbook.com the other day at our local hospital for a lunch date. Of course she's engaged to be married so it wasn't a "date date" or anything, but we live in the same town so I didn't see anything wrong with that. We met and now we're the best of buddies.. Also I met my second wife over the computer, granted she cheated on me but we were married 10 years none the less, so I don't see anything wrong with any of this, its just that you guys are forgetting one thing, long distance relationships don't work out.
