My body and bits function just fine on their own without the emotional connection (however, refer to Jake's reference to worship on page one - should this be the case).
However, I PREFER sex with an emotional connection. I don't have to be in LOVE with you. I just want you to be a decent enough person that I'd find having a conversation with you over lunch at some diner intellectually stimulating. That's all.
We're not overthinking it Rman... we know what we like and what we want and we know settling for less rarely satisifes. Also, the definintion of "emotional intimacy" is pretty fluid - depending on where a person is in their life - ya know?
