Emotional intimacy in order to be willing to go through with physical intimacy. That sounds very complicated. Perhaps women are just overthinking the whole thing...

I do not need emotional intimacy to enjoy sex with someone, but sex is always better when its there. I have had enough sex in my life now though to know what I like so I have had orgasms with men I dont have emotional connections with or they with me.

I CAN have sex without the emotional intimacy but it's not near as fulfilling. My best way of describing it to you guys is .... put three condoms on, then have sex. Technically you had sex, your partner enjoyed it, but there was just something lacking in it for you. Understand?

perhaps men are not thinking about it enough. i have been alone 2 years now, yes i miss the physical side of the relationship very very much. but there is no way i can go out there and just do the act. i was always taught that that was wrong. and i admit, i become emotionally attached.

well there are objects made to serve that purpose.

I really not in a place to comment on this much, as I do not want an emotional, nor a physical relationship right now, and wander if I ever will again.
