I am hugely mega paranoid, thts y I nevr use my real name or have any pics. BUT I am here for help and support. It seems very counter active to join a support group and then remain on private setting. Yes thr r meanies on here just like anywhr else. Ive had to deal with them too. Simply put thm on ignore, panicky a few days then move on.
I love most everyone here. Those who have been mean to me, yall know who u r, stay the hell away from me! The rest lets get better and have fun doin it.

I think paranoia goes both ways, if someone is new and nervous I can see how they'd have every right to set their profile to private. Guess I really don't see what the big issue is... sorry to offend.

#52 nothing wrong with opinions but IT IS wrong to make someone feel bad and to bring EGOS under/over inflated into it. Either way I examine that.....it's WRONG and uncalled for.

Its a GOOD thread! It clears the air - brings people closer, and venting, stuff that REALLY bothers US - all of us, not just you - that might not like it... that's not the way, threads go

Once a thread is out there, it can take many turns -whether the original poster, or the new member likes it or not..

I didn't mean anyone in particular about the hug reading. I just meant if you are spending a lot of time worrying about someone reading your hugs, it might surprise you to find out your hugs are not interesting to others.

That's just my opinion. I honestly don't care if profiles are private or not.

For me it ceased being a good thread when someone was made to feel bad because of a cruel comment about "egos" but you are entitled to your opinion.

I kinda agree with Dee. Why would you join a public group on the web and then stay with a privite profile? Its a collision of contradictions. I do wish the hugs here could be made privite as I have friends that do not like eachother and well this is a board about mental illness enough said.

This is a public place and I keep some things privite.

The people that use to piss me off have left and I am more careful on what i put out there.

I did not target anyone straight out by using their name. I stated my opinion and my wish. We aren't going to agree. I still think it was wrong because it ended up hurting someone. I just don't think it is right to hurt people. I am done with this thread. I won't read it any longer. Do as you will.

Oh. I think we're all doing the best we can, agreeing to disagree. Anything more I think is uncalled for (like having to close this thread). That just doesn't seem necessary to me simply because people are experiencing a difference of opinion...
