Fat chance...we're going to MIL's and Grandmas around 5pm. Oh wait, that's Christmas Eve.
We're not doing anything for xmas. I'm going to wallow in bed.
And use my SAD light to get over this damn mood.
Tomorrow is church in the afternoon and then Christmas Eve with family-(DH's family). Cooking a traditional egg casserole with sausage and cheese and then monkey bread for Christmas morning.
I'm searching high and low for some holiday cheer so if anyone has any to spare throw it my way! :-)
We're going mumming!! For those of you who don't know what that is:
Mummers were originally bands of masked persons who during winter festivals in Europe paraded the streets and entered houses to dance or play dice in silence. Momerie was a popular amusement between the 13th and 16th century.
Hopefully it will be interesting! It's gosh darn 64 degrees here!! Got to do something outside!
I'm cooking today a bunch of last minute gifts.
Just like being home for once pouring rain here you enjoy the 65 degree weather!
