Thank you Princess/ I think the key to try and moderate would be to document the "chronic and consistent"/ Us BP'ers are prone to rage and i would hate to see someone ostracized for an isolated incident if someone overreacted (another BP trait). I remember someone about a month ago had a horrible night and said some horrible things but came back and apologized a few days later. I suppose remorse would be the key? I dunno. I am pretty new here. If you can moderate I will be praying for ya! It is not a task i would want to tackle. Sometimes it is hard to figure out if someone is just raging in mania or an asshole all the time. I am not trying to disagree with anyone. Just reading comments and comparing them to my own experiences. Enjoy your poetry. :)

Anyway, I belong to a site that has an ignore button. If you don't like what someone says, you just add them to your ignore list and never have to listen to their rubbish agin. It's great..I have the longest ignore list on record...Ha!

You can't put any BP in charge. They're emotionally involved in this. And what happens if you piss them off? They delete you?

I wouldn't delete someone if they pissed just me off. I would watch their behavior over time, and if it continued to get negative, I'd reccommend they'd be removed, maybe even have a majority vote or consensus if more than one mod, which I strongly encourage there be more than one mod.

I don't think he's on here as often as others think,,,,there are over 500 communities on here...although I bet we're one of the biggest problems for him.

But even so, he looks at a situation and I think is fair. Once in a while, like right now, we have someone who manages to slide under the radar by being a "good boy". But, I'm told he's been warned -- obviously the reason he's behaving.

I can't imagine why we need a middle man. I like the fact that we can go straight to Doug and he's responsive. Besides that, with the new, report abuse button, the "DS Team" responds, not Doug. So, he's not struggling with us single handedly.

As one of the founders, Doug is making big bucks off this site. Sorry Doug, but ..... this is part of what he get's paid for.

No offense to any Catholics, but I switched religions to avoid the middleman. (Please don't lynch me on that one...just my opinion).
