Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Hey guys, I hope you are all doing okay. Just want to vent about my day so far because it's been rough. I had a very hard night last night dealing with anxiety and some paranoia. I was doing good for the past couple of days but then it just kinda started coming back. I didn't sleep well and I slept in earlier than I wanted to. Then as I was taking lake out this morning I was very anxious about the bugs flying around my head as I'm terrified of wasps (like horribly awfully scared of them) and as we were going in one was right beside me trying to fly in the door I almost lost it I got so scared I usually am very cautious of them but since lake got fixed the other day I have to take him out downstairs and there's lots more places for them to hide by this door. Anyway I tried to push past that and get on with the day, though scary thoughts were still playing back in my head. Felt like my brain was just taunting me with just a few words that throws me back into the mindset over and over. I took a shower and lake was howling and barking the whole time because he has to be stuck down there without me. Once I got out I realized that he had crapped all over the floor in his small enclosed area which on one hand I am glad he finally pooped as it's been a few days (the vet said it was normal for them to not go for 48 hours after surgery) but on the other it was absolutely awful he smeared it everywhere including in his cage and on his blankets. So I was cleaning that up and of course I look over by the trashcan where I was about to walk twoards and there's a wasp on the floor. My sister killed it for me but it terrified me so so much I don't feel safe in my house anymore. Every time I see one in here I walk around so cautiously for days looking everywhere for them checking all the doorways and windows. I was finally starting to let my guard down recently too because it's been a while since I've seem them in here. I just feel so angry that my fear is so bad. Its so bad that if i even see one o get convinced that i am having symptoms of an allergic reaction and it feels like its really happening. I'm so anxious to even lay in bed but right now it's all I can do I need to calm down. I got everything cleaned up and I'm going to wash his blankets as soon as the washer is free but my anxiety is gonna be bothering me all day today.

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!

Keep venting, Frog. Your own answers are in there.
Hope you'll continue to be gentle with Lake. I equally hope the bowel incontinence was a one-time, post surgical event. Thems be gnarly messes to clean up. Hope healing happens here for both of you.
When I saw one of my therapy dogs through the incontinence of old age, I lined his cage with plastic and rags so that I could just dispose of the whole mess in one clean trip to the trash can.
