Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

Everday it's different. And I'm sure for everyone that has it, it effects you differently.
But its a lot harder seing my 5 year old little girl have it at a very young age.she's always nervous around people until she gets to know them or in places She's never béen to.family from Sweden and Ireland She's met and spent time but there not her everyday people and even know there all nice to her she still gets all nervous. She's very smart she's in kindergarten and she knows how to reed already and she's ahead of her class. Not only can she count but she can add and subtract.
She doesn't like sleep overs at a friends house or having friends sleep over. She likes it at my younger sisters my dads or my husbands sister and dads house.
She isolates her self to much at times I often even from me I worry if she even loves me at times.
I wonder often what my life would look like if trust came a bit easier for me.
I agree with you 100%. I don't like having it for the rest of my life. And having to deal with it on a daily basis is not fun either.
Having your daughter have it at such a young age is horrible. I feel so bad for her to have to deal with it. And you having to watch her deal with it. It would be so hard as a mother to see your child have to go through. That's very sad to me. And her being nervous around family has got to be tough on both her and family members. I'm glad she is able to get more comfortable when she's around them. She warms up to them and
they sound like their nice to her and understand her feelings.
Glad to hear she's exceling in school. Sounds like she is very smart. That's excellent!!! That must make you feel like a proud mom. Great job Mom!!!! And great job on your daughters part.
Sounds like she is more comfortable with family sleep overs. That's o.k. Eventually one day she will warm up to having sleep overs with friends. Give it time.
Isolating is hard on both you and her. She probably doesn't feel comfortable and doesn't know what to do. Don't ever doubt that she loves you. Your her mother and you gave birth to her. You guys share a special bond together. Accept her as she is. I think things will get better as she matures. She will come out of her "shell to speak". Just always be there for her and love her and support her no matter what and she will feel the love. Your doing a great job and I wish the two of you all the best. Thank you so much for your comment. Sorry mine is so long. Italianmomma4ever
Yes I too have loss relationships with people. It's been hard. I try my best to open up to people and be there for them but it seems like on their part their just not on the same page as me. And that's o.k. I can only try. Rejection is hard to swallow. But knowing that you have tried is all we can do.
It's not easy to trust everyone. I understand that. So I could see you rejecting people. It's hard to figure out people. And sometimes I just can't be bothered. It takes up to much head space for me. People are gonna be who they are. So we just have to accept them or not.
But for you I think giving people the benefit of the doubt and putting down your guard and getting to know them would maybe help trust people. I'm not saying everyone is trustable. It's worth a try. Thank you for your comment. I'm glad you trust me enough to express your feelings. See that's a start in the right direction. I won't let you down.❤️ Italianmomma4ever

If you ever need someone to talk with Private Message me. I'm here and will listen and no judging.
I have lost relationships with family members.
That I think has been the toughest for me to deal with.
It's hard because it's family.
Why does family have to be so complicated????
For those who have littles with active anxiety, instead of 'worrying' about what you notice, try helping them to be more comfortable inside their bubble and share the outside in more ways so they have the comfort of sharing to help them be active in the moment.
That 'nervousness' is often a sign of excitement - and is normal for everyone. Once I was able to enjoy being in new experiences, it got easier to be comfortable doing the new experience.
Social phobia ... I looked at the diagnosis and said, this makes absolute sense in my decision making in social situations.
Relationships with family ... I have a few that do NOT have any understanding of 'anxiety' and we still talk, and I'm careful to phrase my feelings in statements around them.
For those relationships that have been 'lost', I wrote out the parts that I truly enjoyed and sent a note of appreciation to them through the mail. It was actually surprising that I got some nice responses back.
However, trust...is a much more difficult one to work through. The loss of trust resulted in 'phobia' for me, and as I slowly find my balance with one part, I find more as I keep working through it.
Here's to healing, to finding the best in 'sadness' and for sharing!
Yes that is pretty sad. Battling it every day is hard. It's a job in itself. One that I don't want. And don't even get payed for.
That's a good point about worrying about what you notice. Helping them by sharing is huge. And does make them feel comfortable. So they can experience more of the outside world and learn. I think it would help a lot. Instead of worrying which doesn't help achieve anything. Great idea!!!
I just learned that the nervousness is a sign of excitement. I feel that way a lot. So I guess I'm doing alright in that department. Since its normal.
With my family, a lot of them have anxiety so they understand. They just have issues that I don't want to be around or indulge in. We live different life's and think differently. So I just stay in my lane and do me.
That was very thoughtful of you to express your feelings and send out letters. That's a real good idea to share. I'm happy you got some good feed back too.
Trust is a hard one for some. I think sometimes when someone has broken my trust for them it's hard for me to trust them again. I guess you can say I got my guard up. It's something that I need to work on. I think that it's gonna keep happening so I am alittle skeptical at times with the person. The thoughts never leave my mind what they have done. I need to forgive and forget. Something that's not easy for me.
Thank you so much for your comment. Excellent comment.
Here's to healing for all and turning that "sadness "into happiness. Thank you for sharing Mid.
Sorry that my comment was so long.
I just wanted to express my feelings with you and hope it helps everyone else.
Hugs and healing to all!!!!
It's nice to meet you.
Sounds like you have been through a lot in your life.
I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of your son. That's devasting as a mom to have to go through. My aunt lost her son at the age of 26 in a car accident. It was horrible.
A marriage breakup is also hard to deal with. And having bad relationships isn't easy either.
You have been through a lot of bad experiences and trauma of your son is overwhelming. How old was he when he passed away? Was all this that you have gone through just recent?
I could see why you would be overwhelmed and weak.
That is totally normal to feel the way you do. Your grieving over the loss of your child, your marriage. That's a lot for anyone to absorb.
Those are definitely not happy times. Try to remember all the good times you shared with your son. You probably have a lot of memories. Keep them close to your heart.
You sound like you have gone through some trauma.
Do you see a counselor or therapist to talk to?
They would help you out a lot with sorting out your feelings.
Here's to finding your balance and to happiness. Stay strong. Italianmomma4ever
