General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...
Just wondering how anxiety affects your appetite. Some people stress eat and some barely eat. I don't eat a whole lot because anxiety has taken away my appetite and I feel sick most of the time. Usually, I 'force feed' and sometimes when I chew, the food seems to get bigger and bigger to where I feel like I can hardly swallow it. Since I don't eat a lot, I make sure most of what I do eat is nutritious so I don't do junk or fast food. Medically, everything's ok tho. Interested in hearing how others are affected.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

i am in recovery from anorexia and one off my biggest challenges is eating while anxious.
My dietician has impressed upon me how important and helpful it is to eat on a schedule, even setting an alarm for meal times if i need to.
It has been hard though, and lately i have found myself missing meals because the very thought of eating makes me feel ill.It is all anxiety.
i am supposed to try no matter what though, and i have noticed that sometimes as i am forcing myself to eat,my appetite does get stirred up,and i actually start to feel hungry.
But i have got to force myself first.
i empathize.Eating while anxious isn't easy.
Hope this helps!!
