I think having a baby totally messes with your hormones... and then losing a loved one so tragically can throw even the strongest into a tail spin.
I am so sorry about your loss but am happy you have the little one. Hope you begin to feel better soon... keep reaching out.
But yeah, doesn't hurt to ask your doctor about it and see what they say.
Hope you're doing good today!
I have been tested for thyroid my thyroid levels are all good. They are currently in the works of testing me for an adrenal insufficiency aka Addison disease ( I have low sodium and potassium). I guess I am just thinking if that comes back negative that maybe I should really consider getting my IUD removed since my depression and anxiety came pretty much as soon as I got my IUD placed and I have been struggling ever since.
Yes, that sounds like something about the IUD could be causing it... and sure, why not get it removed and after a few months, see how your anxiety and depression are doing. The hormones could be messing with your body. And like you said, with the adrenal issues you're having, maybe best if you could remove other hormones (example - from the IUD) that are being put in your body right now. Kind of reset your body back to how it was, you know?
You can always get it put back in again later. Wouldn't it be great if that's what was causing your anxiety/depression?
I wish you luck! Let us know!!
