Anxiety Support Group
Anxiety is a physical condition marked by intense and persistent feelings of distress, fear, angst or dread. General anxiety caused by routine day-to-day stresses usually passes quickly and is experienced by almost everyone at one time or another. However, such feelings that linger over time and are very difficult to cope with, and which lack a clear cause, may indicate...

According to COVID rhetoric, children are hazardous to senior health. I am a senior citizen, but could not even consider the possibility of turning my 3 orphans over to the foster care system for the sake of protecting myself to death. I'd rather die hugging a child than to live kissing a mask.
100% of my age peers abandoned ship in the first days of Corona's crowning and have stayed gone for the duration. Yesterday I went on a binge of contacting them and? ? ? Don't know if I am officially persona non grata or their drive to *Stay Safe* has finally shrunk their worlds to a med clinic waiting room. Whatever the masked wonders, I feel abandoned.
Thoughts?
Again I leave the mood icon on the rapid cycling median as I wish I felt safe enough to *stay* safe.

Ever since I stopped doing therapy because of insurance, I've been feeling that old tense and irritable sense of anxiety and stress. I hate that. I was making so many strides and changes during therapy, my therapist would acknowledge all of my progress and accomplishments, and I miss that reassurance. Today I thought about it, and I made those changes! She would always tell me that I chose to...
Other friends have disappeared, and after contemplation, not a big loss, since we are not doing the activities that connected our time together.
However, to choose between children who need stability, love, and safety, not a single friend has abandoned staying in touch.
Here's to finding the balance and knowing it's not you, it's theirs.
anything.
Sending peace, and no worries.
The feelings of abandonment here in the isolation of Coronaville seem to be going some strange places. Well, mask it all! ! !
I am hopeful that the light at the end of the tunnel is growing brighter, and it's not an on-coming train. Don't get me wrong, I know things are still a mess and life in our little hidey-hole is strained and stressful and everything else. And I think our return to "normalcy" is gonna be slow and stuttering, which, honestly, may be for the best.
Sending you peace and hope.
I wonder now if that post be the trigger for my sudden urge to break textual silence with the age peers who disappeared from our lives at the first whisper of, "Pandemia."
The only normal I have ever really believed in is, "Normal For Me." The fact that Normal-For-Me had been shot out of the proverbial water such a short time before Corona crowned might make it a little extra hard to know which part of the Corona Life has been the marshal law mandates and which are strictly personal.
Dunno. . . Color me more confused than ever.
If you have another outlet, if you're working or volunteering, or have a big family, keep talking to them or keep busy with them. Keep yourself occupied and in touch w/people. Good luck!!
