With the breathing problems you already have,you definitely don't need to catch that virus

Covid test was negative. My asthma is still awful! I take my last prednisone today. I called my family doctor's office asking if her receptionist can get her to call in more prednisone. No appointments available. Pulmonologist's office was no help. Said he's not due to see me until August. We're at red threat level in my area due to covid. The next level is full lock down.

My family doctor called in 5 more days of prednisone. My boyfriend picked it up.

I'm concerned that I may have to go to the ER which I don't want to do. Not only is my chest congested but my nose is stuffed up too.

I did an e-visit with a family doctor. She said to go to the ER and she called ahead. Chest x-ray, ekg, and blood tests were normal. More prednisone with a longer taper and ventolin nebules. Despite negative covid test on Monday I still wonder about it. I have never ever had an asthma flare this bad.

I'm so very sorry your friend is having such a hard time and I hope she feels better soon!*hugs* My asthma is really bad today and I'm having a lot of rib and back pain when I breathe.

I'm still dealing with this asthma flare, the weight loss, the night sweats, hair loss and I had a nosebleed today. I had a hard time getting it to stop. I had to use a cold gel pack on the side of my nose to get it to stop.

I went to the ER after my x-ray. I found out that I have hyperthyroidism. It is most likely the cause of my weight loss, sweating, shortness of breath and hair loss. I was told to stop synthroid and to get another thyroid blood test in April.

My asthma is bad today. More congestion, wheezing, shortness of breath is worse and my peak flow was down. I went back to the yellow zone for my asthma action plan. I'm down to 10mg of prednisone. My family doctor is booked up until the 22nd.

The shortness of breath which is worse with activity, sweating, feeling and dizziness remains after finishing prednisone. My family doctor is referring me to a cardiologist. She's ordering testing too.
