Hi, I'm Leah. I'm in my mid 30s. I have never been married, although I've been seeing someone. I don't have any children. I love animals and miss having a pet/fuzzy friend. I enjoy conversations with friendly people. I like to cook, but I'm still leaning. Some things I make turn out pretty good while others not so much. I don't get to practice as much as I'd like due to my living situation. That brings me to why I joined Daily Strength. I don't have a very good living situation at the moment and I am trying very hard to find a career that I can support myself with. All my life I have struggled through school with learning disabilities/differences. Because of the LDs, traditionally structured education isn't something I've had much success with. I haven't made any lifelong friendships, and as an adult - in my situation - I find it nearly impossible to make friends. I do struggle with anxiety and depression. I am trying to take life day to day (some days are really hard). I really hope that if I just keep trying and working hard that one day things will work out. Anyway, I look forward to interacting with others here.
