Friends - J2

Hi,

I just wanted to check in. I can't really write a lot tonight because I need to get to sleep. I just logged on to see how everone's doing and send some hello messages. I guess the main thing I'm hoping to get out of being a member of DS is to make some friends. I wish I could make friends to talk to on the phone and spend time with, but I guess a good first step is to make some online friends to message with. Why is it so hard to make friends as an adult? Why aren't there more resorces in the commuity to bring lonely people together? I don't know if anyone has heard of MeetUp - I joined that to meet new people in my area. I haven't gone to a group meetup yet, but I do have one that I RSVP to. One thing that would be a big help or hopefully a big help would be for me to get confortable driving more places. Most of the meetup groups are closer to the bigger parts of town. Anyway, I guess that all for now. I hope whoever reads this has a good day!
