  In 2012, I began my experience with MG starting with double vision, then bulbar and general so that in about 2 months I went from no MG to in the hospital in crisis.  I did the mestinon and prednisone route for about a year before tapering prednisone to see what was the lowest dose I could take and manage MG.  During the time I was in my worst part of MG, I was very active on this forum (2012-13) and still on later as I got better.   Happy Holidays to all of you.  Hope 2024 brings a good year.  My own experience with MG ended 10 years ago when I went into full remission with no return of MG since.  At 77 years old, I am hopeful that this is a permanent remission. Russ Hanson

  Hope you have a nice holiday season.  Here in NW Wisconsin, we are having a great deal of snow, cold and wind and having a hard time keeping the driveway open today -- it keeps drifting shut.
