Hope you have a nice holiday season. Here in NW Wisconsin, we are having a great deal of snow, cold and wind and having a hard time keeping the driveway open today -- it keeps drifting shut. It has been 10 years since I was first diagnosed with MG in April of 2012. I have been in remission since June of 2013, so have had only a year of MG experience. It seems to me to be a bad dream now. I am 76 years old and functioning normally. This group was my support during my MG time and got me through some very difficult times. I am hopeful that MG will not return, although I know it could at anytime.

I am still hoping for a better treatment for my seronegative MG. My new neurologist is determined to have me on Vyvgart, so fingers crossed.
For whatever reason, this site is seldom active anymore. I myself finally signed up for Facebook (to join our local BuyNothing group), so in for a penny, in for a pound, I also joined the Facebook MG and Seronegative MG groups. Those MGers who don't belong to Facebook seem to be using the Myasthenia Gravis News forums. I think I have seen posts by David there.
I think of the regulars who posted here -- you, Russ; Andre; Peter; Theresa; and many others. I am wishing you all good health and much happiness in the new year. <3

i was quiet for the last year as i came down witg prostate cancer level , imendiatly was put on iaradion kemo for a full month also on ormonal kemo with injection of lupon, and 1000 mgs of abiraterone
one think i have learned, maysthenia gravis and prostate cancer are totaly incomapitble and dangerous to teh patient, fortunately as i am a person that mind over matter will guide and prevent deeper problems i ws able to resist the trend of weekness, loss of weight, dissiness weakness, and errors comited with my irafient kemo treatments also becuse of the aberaterone i was swetting as a pig going to the slauter house, lost 5 pound in a month, but it is feasable to fighted and winn my psa i at the minimun with mean tha iam winning the fight against this cancer, we let you know how i am prgressing

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been well. I doubt if any illness is a good combination with prostate cancer or MG. My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer about four years ago and had his prostate removed. His PSA has been hovering around zero ever since. Still we hold our breaths every year until his test result comes back.

thanks for your kinds words, every thing that i do is based in controling the way i take my meds, since the shot lupon has an extreme effect on me, i dont know if your husband had to take it, but for me the combination of covid shots and lupon will do detriment to ones being, btu that life luckaly i will fight this to the end, also at 85yrs the years do not help, my recovery its slow, but as ian a fighter i do not allowe it to take me down, so happy to have my wife at my side,because she is my strength and will to fight on, after urs of marriage i cannot dissapoint her
