I hadn't heard of the GOLO weight loss program and so I looked it up. There is a description at this site and an evaluation.

It says that the magnesium level is at about 4% of the daily recommended dose "The release provides 15mg per tablet or 45mg per day for the 3 tablets recommended, about 4% of the recommended daily value."
That certainly seems very minor. In reading the GOLO evaluation it seems to me that the diet changes are probably what do the most part of the weight loss in the program.
