  Went to my first ever AA meeting today. It being a Sunday, I thought more would be in attendance.  Very small group,  the leader, an old-timer, a court appointee, and myself.  An alcoholic friend had said she would go with me, but bailed out at the last minute.  BF, who is 3 months sober, said he'd been sick all w/e.  I read the promises outloud to the room,  but I don't think I remember when I do that.  I'm just reading, not listening.  Yes, I was asked if I could do this, and I did. ...

  Still working on downsizing!  I did so well for over a week,   Yes, I need to make a point to try AA.  A close friend died, and I've never encountered such a FB war with family!  It is terrible!  I've lost focus on myself.  BF discouraged, asking how much I've had to drink?  a vicious circle!
