  I am unusually stiff and sore this week. I just finished giving myself a deep muscle massage with a topical analgesic mixture of camphor, menthol and methyl salicylate. I can now stand with very little muscle pain but sitting  down, the last 6 inches above a tall chair,  21 inches (41cm), the pain is intense.   I am back in Portland Oregon for my fall check-up. Saw my Neurologist today and made some minor adjustments in my meds. A little less Pramapexol and a little more Carbo-Levodopa. I can't believe it is six years and five  months since my diagnosis. But here I am and I am still getting along.I will be trying to get more quality sleep. Doctor suggests a new firm mattress.   I am very negligent keeping up this journal. Nearly a year, and here is what has transpired in this year.The parkinsons non motor problems are becoming expecially troublesome. Urinary incontinece, bowel predictibility is poor. I am drooling more and more stooped and ED has taken my sex life.On the positive side, I am still at 5 sinmet and 2 pramapexol a day and control most of my motor functions pretty well.   My Neurologist mentioned a time release version of Levo-Carbo drugs called Rytary. It is purported to give a longer "on" periods throughout the day, and is less affected by meals. I am taking a 5 pill per day regimen of the 25/100 Levo/Carbo pills, "Sinamet," and I take a lot of naps. On a routine day I take a pill upon waking. I take a couple hours to get functioning well and have a couple good hours. I take my second pill at 10 and by 10:20 I have the "sleepies" and take a 20-30 minute nap...
