  So I started preparing my body for IUI. RE started me off on menopur only 75iu. I did that for 4 days and on the 5th day he increased it to 150iu after BT show no response. Yesterday was day 12 of menopur (8 days doing 150iu) and went in today for BT. RE just called to say still no reponse so I asked if the dosage can be increased he sighed then said that im on a pretty high dose already and proceeded with "you should consider giving up!!"   Hi y'allI'm just wondering if any of you taking menopur and if yes, how many days did you start off with and at what dose?. So today I was given menopur 75iu but was only given 5 days worth with a scheduled blood test on day 5. I was also given ovidrel and endometrin to be taken when instructed to. He didn't schedule another u/s and I'm assuming he would need the results from the BT before further instructions are given. I'm new to all this so I'm just wondering why 5 days instead of 7? And...

  Hi y'allSo I wanted to give a little update. I had an HSG test done yesterday and my tubes are fine thank the heavens but the experience was awful for me. The cramping was really bad to the point where i broke out in sweat, was throwing up and it took two doctors to get the catheter in. They had to use another device to hold the cervix in place or something to that effect i was only half listening thats what brought most of the cramping on.
