I am so sorry! I am 39 and my docs told me the same thing when I was 38. It was devastating when she said: "You look 30 but have the body of a 55 year old." The doc freaked out because my FSH was 9-11! And later I found out, that its bad but not that bad! I still have eggs in there, but their bad quality so we quit after 7 IVF egg retrievals and now we're using donor eggs because I was tired of stimming every month. I haven't been pregnant yet, but remain hopeful.
So, my question to you is, have you had any consults with reproductive endocrinologists? I'd interview a few and see what they say, based on your profile. Clearly, you're young. However, what is your ovarian function level today? Most Ob/gyn's don't know what they're talking about, so please see a real RE. The only way to find out is through blood tests and a baseline ultrasound on cycle day 2-5 to see how many follicles are present, and even then, it won't guarantee failure or success going forward via IVF. Some people have a bleak profile, but produce tons of eggs with stimulation meds. Some, like me, still look halfway decent on paper but crap out when given too many meds! LOL. So, the only thing that got me to even product multiple eggs was low stimulation IVF. Other than elevated FSH of 9-11, my other hormones looked good and I always have a regular period, clear tubes and can ovulate on my own. Super frustrating, but I couldn't wait any longer, so I bough donor eggs. Please message me if you have any specific questions! Hang in there *hugs*

Thank u. Yea my FSH was 19! I don’t quite understand it but my AMH was LOW!! Like non existent. I am going to start Ubiquinol CoQ10 600mg daily idk if it will do anything but I guess it can’t hurt right? Goodluck I hope u get a BFP test soon!

Hi there! I was diagnosed with low AMH at 37 years old. I started eating a healthy diet, doing acupuncture and yoga and taking coq10 and vitamins d3 and my AMH number went way up the next time they tested it! Sometimes a vitamin D3 deficiency can cause your AMH to test lower just like birth control pills can as well. At your age I for sure wouldn’t give up hope! You have a lot of time to figure it out!

Hey, I'm 37 and all my hormones are low including amh at a low 0.46 I've been tcc for more than 10 yrs. I've never had a period and only withdrawal bleeding with bcp or other meds. My RE told me straight up that he's not optimistic my body will respond however he started me off on menopur! I did 22days of stims and halfway through he called and told me to give up. My body wasnt responding to the meds and i had no follicles. I insisted for a few more days and he agreed reluctantly. At the end of 22 days I had 1 follicle at 18mm and another at 15 among a few smaller ones. I triggered with ovidrel and was supposed to do iui but unfortunately I missed out on that and we ended up doing TI. Currently in my tww 10dpt. I said all of that to say this, don't give up hope. Get a consult from a RE and make sure to let him/her knows you're willing to try even when the odds are against you. I went from 0 follicles t0 2 mature ones so I know there is hope even tho I got a BFN yesterday however im still hopeful one day it'll work . Good luck and im sending lots of baby dust your way.
