Hi y'all!

I'm new here and I've been so depressed I decided to come here for some support. Here's a little background to better help understand my situation. Im 37yrs old been ttc for yrs. I’ve never gotten a natural period, have done numerous tests most recent labs:
Estradiol 13
Dheas 114
Progesterone 0.15
LH 0.2
Fsh 2.6
AMH 0.465
TSH 0.98
Prolactin 6.1
Thyroid peroxidase 11
Antidrenal antibodies came bk negative
Chromosomes normal female karyotype
Vit D 34.7 (note i have osteopenia so I’m taking calcium/vit D supplement)
Genetic normal/ fragile X reduced risk
Ultrasound shows normal uterus, small ovaries
RE suggested IUI and I have a scheduled appt for HSG as well as MRI. I don't know if is there any hope for me conceiving naturally or even at all by iui or ivf? I have two people who would be willing to stand as egg donors should incase i need to go that route and providing thats theirs are healthy. It's frustrating going from doc to doc tests on top of tests. We're a military couple and insurance dosnt cover the treatments. Im sick and tired of being asked when am i going to get a child and ofc i always respond with in due time but usually cry to myself afterwards. I know there are other options but I would like to have that feeling of carrying my own child!

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through. Did your RE have any kind of discussion with you about what the numbers mean? I really wish insurance would cover this kind of treatment, especially couples in the military...but that's a topic for another day.

My RE and i discussed the numbers and she told me that my only option at this point is IUI or ivf! My amh is low so not alot of eggs. Tbh she told me straight up that she don't know if we'll ever get there but it didn't hurt to try! I practically left the appointment in tears. I had to sit in my car for a good 30mins crying before i could actually drive!

Hi Giftformeriel! I'm about to try IUI since its the cheaper of the two options and I just found out that if i do it at the fertility clinic at the Navy med center they cover the iui but not ivf. So I'm switching RE my first appt appointment with new RE is June 19th. Nothing was discussed abt egg option so I'll see once i go to my next appt.

I've got all of you beat. How about 45 and ttc. All 3 IVF failed. So heartbroken and disappointed. Had an ectopic pregnancy years ago then a miscarriage. But not giving up. You have to hold on to hope. Positive mindset means everything. Prayers for all of us struggling with this.

Penelopegrc I'm so sorry for all you had to go through! I wish it was easy for us. It's hard seeing people who dont even want children popping these babies out and we're here struggling to get even one. Thank you for the encouragment and will definitely be praying for all of us
