  I have found the most random of symptoms - white spots on my big toenails. While they can be attributed to many things, I go right to the big one - HIV. I even messaged a boyfriend from three years ago and told him I’m sure he gave me something. He told me he’s 100% fine and I need help for my anxiety but I can’t believe him and keep looking up pictures. I’ve now taken to obsessively filing my nail beds to remove these spots which in turn is probably making them worse, or maybe causing...

  I'm new here and am feeling desperate with fear. I have struggled with hypochondria since I was little. I also have general anxiety and depression and am coming off a very stressful week. I made the poor choice of googling symptoms I've had for quite a while- chalky, white marks on my toenails because I wanted to see how to remove them. Instead, I'm met with the fact that they could be due to the fact that I almost always wear nail polish on my toes... or of course, my biggest fear - a fungus...
