  ... yet I feel she fits the textbook case of bipolar disorder. I have a very difficult time dealing with her. I have never been closed to her. She's traumatized me all through my childhood. I do not enjoy her company or am remotely interested in being near her. But that often is misconstrued as I am the "black sheep".   It seems like every single day, I am met with conflict with my 15 year old son. From the time I get him out of bed to the time he goes to bed. There never is a time where everything is smooth-sailing.  I work from home and I'd get him out of bed so I can drive him to school at the designated time. I asked him when the wake up call is every night and he would tell me. But he wouldn't get up. I would then go back up there repeatedly to get him up. He wouldn't comply. This takes my focus off work...

  I find myself in a state of disarray. I don't know what to do. I'm caught in between a bipolar mother and a son who has ODD & ADD. I do not love the situation I'm in.  I have so much love for my son but he treats me like a doormat. I don't want to enable him but he bullies me and I feel I have a terrorist living amidst us. Since he turned 14, puberty came with a vengeance. He has hormonal rages and moments of irrational and illogical behaviour.  Maybe this is all part & parcel of growing up...
