  Hello. I am checking in to my new platform - this DS Liars group. I am trying to be accountable after most of my life being a copulsive and habitual liar. I would like to say that since I joined this group a day and a half ago, that I have not lied, but I am one of those people who are so bad at it that they honestly do not know.   Good morning. I am a new poster and like Ruckus, whose post I just read, I can relate and echo evrything in there! I'm not ready to post anything more at this time as I just want to read and learn what I can daily for a bit. I will also be making my first post in the ADHD group as well.   Good morning. I am struggling with an addiction issue that I'm in a 12 step program with. Faltered recently but it has given me great hope for the future with the exception of another underlying or perhaps overbearing issue. My compulsive lying. As with a lot of the psots I've read, I lie for no apparent reason, sometimes for no personal gain whatsoever, and other times the instant gratification it brings truns to shame so quickly it is ridiculous.
