I have my engagement and wedding rings on still. I had my husband's ring on a chain for a bit but it came off on it's own twice without the chain being unhooked or breaking (a sign...yes...once was the day before his memorial service when I was alone for the first time). The second time scared me into not wearing it anymore. His ring is titanium so it can't be resized and is too big for all my fingers. It is now on one of the decorative loops on my metal bed frame above my head. I did however purchase a necklace that I think symbolizes us. It has two circles, one inside the other. The outside circle is diamond and the inner circle is black diamonds. My husband's ring is black titanium and my rings are white gold and diamonds. When I saw the saw the necklace, I knew that was the one I had to have. And now it's always on (except when my friend's puppy broke the chain and I had to get it repaired).
Ive noticed people glance at my hand And I wonder what they're thinking.
To me there is no wrong or right on this issue because its a decision that comes from the heart and only you and you alone will know what feels best....
I wish you Peace with whatever you decide.
