I feel OK. I have Rocco by my side and a great group of friends.
Big Hugs to All,
David.
Thanks to our Vets we are able to have this weekend.
Gramps
Grandpa, are you thinking of Veterans day or Memorial day?
But yes, our free country and all we get to do here is due to them anyway.I always appreciate our vets.
Remember, ladies..... Don't wear white after Labor Day! LOL
Grandpa good to hear from you it's been too l..o..n..g! Have a great one!
Pauli they changed that wearing white rule yrs ago! If you want to wear white go for it!
Minnie I sure wish you'd get to feeling better. Lots of prayers & hugs
I'm a bit beat up from going to the dr yesterday and too much typing last nite, but both were worth it!
I hope everyone makes the most out of this weekend in spite of the pain.
Many Blessings to all,
Toni
I'm gonna clean out my white shoes and clothes before the Fashion Police get me, lol
Like I have the energy!
Beautiful Day in Colorado today; gonna try to get a few naps in this afternoon. Everyone have a great weekend; hopefully the sun is shining on you :)
Lots of love and gentle hugs,
MaryKathryn
Just plan on taking it easy today, we've got a big day Sunday so I plan on resting up for it.
My pain levels have been decent and the aches from being sick are letting up too.
i can belive my oldest is going into 4th grade!
We didn't end up going up north afterall...which was the right decision. I don't think I would have made it too good with the stress of my brother being so sick and myself still trying to heal. Just going to try to make it a good weekend for the girls.
Rayray...I have a 4th grader too!! My oldest is going into 10th grade though. Things are going to be crazy around here next week.
I hope everyone is doing well and having low pain days. Have a great holiday weekend everyone.
Autumn
There was a thunder storm early this morning that lasted a while. If we hadn't just endured enough rain for a whole season, I might have enjoyed the sounds at 500. It's hot, humid and sunny right now, but according to the forecast, it should still be a thunder storm! It's coming, though...I can feel it in the air (and bones) and flash flooding is on the horizon for the next few days. My poor State of Vermont is in ruins from Irene and now this!
It's worse down South. I can't imagine how they'll recover from another storm.
My PT insisted I call my clinic again and insist on a refill of Fentanyl. I've had such a painful we and the PT couldn't even get any of my neck and shouler muscles to release, yesterday. I finally got a call back from my NP after giving my whole story to the nurse I got on the line. It took several hours, but she agreed to fentanyl, but NOT muscle relaxers! Who does that???? I was a little disgusted to find the script was for only 2 patches...grrrr. I don't know what I'm going to do with her.
I was a little better starting work this morning after having the patch on for over 12 hours, but working put an end to that party. Oh well, I don't have to amount to anything else if I choose.
Cherry xoxo
P.S. Nealy, I have two rooms that could use a backhoe!
I hope Rocco is ready for his first official holiday.
Toni I am with you as are many....some time it is worth the pain to have some fun.
Autumn this is tragic. I know we have members in WI . You could start a thread. We are family.
I can't imagine that you would have enjoyed your traditional trip after what has happened. Hope you are
able to kick back and watch some fun cheerful movies with the girls and have a mini staycation at home.
GrampaX3 yes we are grateful for our vets and all americans who work so hard to provide for their families.
My hope for this Labor Day is that the big biz people will reflect on what is going on and start withholding campaign funds to all the idiots who are fighting while people are starving because of the economy.
Cherry(extract) I hope the rain decides to go away to another state. Maybe it will take a detour and turn and go to Texas. However I believe a tropical storm is supposed to take care of Texas. I heard on the news last
night that people were stealing the big bales of hay because of the drought.
Hmmmmmm........I may be a little negative today. It is Labor Day and people are jobless.
We are shoveling out our house to.Yeah right more like moving stuff around a bit.Puppies are all happy.
Gentle Healing Hugs all around.
love and gentle hugs,
maryKathryn
