I am just 61, but I have no interest whatsoever in dating women close to my age. I am interested only in women in the age range of 18-35. When I go out in clubs, restaurants, etc., young women occasionally approach me, so it seems to go both ways. I always overdress (Italian designer suits/jackets/tux occasionally) compared to the way that 20-something men dress. It is very flattering, but seeing that I have been celibate for 35 years, I have no clue what to do next...
Has he thought that those he says are giving him "the evil eye" (whatever in heck that is!?! - smile) may simply be thinking how nice it is that he is a kindly old grandfather is treating his granddaughter to a night out on the town.
It is laughable that this guy answered my 9/10/11 comment to him with "I certainly do not spend much time here. Not much to glean, or gain from doing so.". Hummmmm!!!! Seems to me this must NOT be so since he is still here spouting the same out-of-touch superficial thinking.
As others have observed earlier....he has no DS friends, no journal entries, no hugs from DS friends, no pictures and no personal information. Doesn't that SHOUT that this guy is a hoax and that he is here for fun and games? Several others have said this in the past!! In fact, I said this earlier myself. I have been looking in from time to time since last year just to see how far he would go. It has been interesting to say the least.
If he is who he says he is it's hard to believe that anyone with even average intelligence could possibly think the way he says he does......and, as I said last year, I feel sad for him.
Unless he has finally gotten a life; and, as has been suggested by several others, moved on to a Board that is more on his subject (whatever that is) we should probably hold on to your hats folks.....these last comments will mean a barrage of words from our "friend" Ornello.....it should be interesting ---- or should I say entertaining.
Finally, it is my understanding that DS is a forum where we can discuss concerns and get needed support from others.......it's not a place for of-the-subject fun and games. If I'm wrong I'd like to hear from someone ((other than Ornello -- CHUCKLE, CHUCKLE)) who will set me straight.
Note to Ornello.......bet you can't resist !!......I'm certain we will all be able to say "I told you so". (smile)

Countless profiles of men/ and to be fair probably women as well with inaccuracies about age, education, and likes and dislikes.
For example, I was in a relationship with my ex for over 35 yrs, we remaine friends. His profile states he loves the beach, weekend RV trips and dancing. Truth...he may love the beach, but hasn't been there in 20 years (lives in Florida), has RV for 5 years (lived in it for awhile, however never drove it anywhere, and didn't even dance at our son's wedding 6 years ago. He states his age as 5 years younger than he is, and only dates women under 40. (younger than our daughter) He professes "he looks young"...truth..does not. He isn't being realistic, and as of this comment has no gf.
Realistic expectations are also common sense.
