Often I am someplace minding my own business and younger women will just keep staring at me or even approach me. It happens with some degree of frequency. I think the reason is that I am completely oblivious to them.

Just an observation... This is my first day on this site. I've found most discussiojns to be supportive, uplifting, kind and helpful. The intention behind the discussions have been consistently positive - until I got to this one. Granted, some people have issues that easily offend but I don't think pointing out one's displeasure about those issues in a format such as this accomplishes much. People don't change when others criticize. I'm new at this but I'm guessing that ignoring the specifics of some comments is best.

Truly Kind.....I'm very sorry that you might feel that I have been mean-spirited in the comments I have made. That is not where I am coming from; it is n-o-t who I am. Anyone who knows me...knows this. My only reason for having input on this board is that Inner substance is so much more important as we live our lives. Having hollow, perfect-on-the-surface folks around us in designer suits, etc., is a sure way to miss out on a meaningful life and it can lead to someone taking a plunge emotionally. Feeling a part of other folks and hearing what they think is why we are here.. Helping each other to know who we are is important, specially when we are too close to see ourselves. I know, from personal experience, that there have been times since I have been a member that other DS'ers have pointed out things that I have needed to think about and it has helped me. From what I am reading, I am hearing a cry for help from Ornello who posted this. He sounds like a very nice guy. By no means am I saying that I know what is good for him or anyone else.......I have enough to deal with in my own life......what I've written is simply a hand of friendship to someone my instincts have told me needs one. I recently met a 41 year-old woman on a dating site who has 4 children, from 13 to 20. We met and went out a couple of times. I liked her and she seemed to like me, but has decided she wants to spend more time with her kids.

With women in their 20s this is much less often a problem unless they have had children young.

In my view, hairymick, you have hit the nail on the head. I couldn't agree more about this guy being "a troll". Little does he know that he is not as clever as he thinks he is. The folks who wrote the initial posts in response to him (I'm one of them) thought he might ....emphasis on "might" in my case....be "for real.". After that his comments were so comically ridiculous that I would suspect most folks who weighed in on this early-on feel, as you have said, that it is some kind of "perverted entertainment" for him. The fact that he pays such close attention to what is being posted here and responds so quickly with his comments tells us all what we need to know. He needs to get a life!!!!!!!! Why I'm even bothering to write this is really a puzzle to me.......!!!!!!!....except that this subject could be interesting if this little game wasn't going on. As I write this, I'm chuckling thinking about his response to what we both have written..........
