Weak Stomach=?

I have learned a lot, researched a lot into my diagnosis of c-ptsd. I know my depression goes along with it. This year, I've realized I have a really weak stomach. Everything I eat bothers it, even if it's good for it.

I confess:I have a hard time using the bathroom(embarrassing). I know, I should not be. I really can't take it anymore with this. All this instability, chaos, and anxiety really messes me up and It makes me feel bad.

I know the stomach is affected by ptsd and whatnot, but how bad is it for people like us? Over the years, I noticed my usage of the bathroom and the struggles I've had, but it has gotten worse over time and it's bad. Really bad.

How can God heal our systems?

Stress is sure a big cause of tummy trouble. My psy doc added Lexapro to my meds two weeks ago and I've had a hard time eating anything. Today he changed it to Pristique. It's really weird since I am an emotional over-eater. Has your dr made any suggestions? If it's not medication or a GI thing, it could be psychosomatic. One of my eating disorder group mates gets nauseated everytime he eats. It's part of his eating disorder. I hope you can find some answers and some relief.

Have you tried acidophilus? It works for me and my family for all sorts of digestive trouble. It is available at health food stores and I have found it at Safeway. The refrigerated kind with multiple strains is the best and it doesn't interfere with any prescription meds or surgeries.

My belly seems to respond best when I treat it like a stress symptom, be the stress post-traumatic or getting this month's bills paid. In my gut, stress is simply stress and I am tightly wound by anybody's measure. When I can unwind, my belly aches ease up.

And, yea, bathroom usage is one of the ways I am feeling my age. I hear that is pretty normal. I think God and I don't always agree on what needs healing.
