I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.
I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

So glad you're keeping at it so I'm encouraged to keep walking, too, Rizen. I got 3.83km, 0.83 past my 3km goal yesterday, and I'm about to head out to walk again today. :-)

I did head out to walk again yesterday and managed to surpass my 3km goal once more, walking 3.14km. That included doing some grocery shopping, meaning my ability to walk became useful and not just exercise.
Rizen
I walked 2 miles today.

Good for you, Rizen! 2 miles! I got 3.8km in yesterday, 0.80km over my 3km daily goal, and was chomping at the bit for the DS site to get fixed so I could post it to you here.

I got 3.25km of walking in yesterday, over my 3km goal so the days when my CKD from that bad pdoc's PTSD meds overdose keeps me home I can keep my monthly 3km average up anyway. Nice! :-)

I got 3.1km of walking in yesterday in spite of all. Neuropathy pain from CKDfrom that pdoc's PTSD meds overfose is bad today though. Dunno if I'll make my 3km goal today or not.

I didn't walk on the 22nd nor on the 23rd because my CKD neuropathy pain from that pdoc's overdose of PTSD meds got to me. That's unprecedented for me recently. If I missed walking it was only for a day per week, not two. Really hoping I can get back to meeting my 3km daily walking goal again today.

I got back to walking as I'd hoped, but I only got 2.2km in, not my goal of 3. But my average is still 3.18 because I usually go over 3km and that little extra bit makes a difference in the long haul Hoping I can get out there and up to 3km today. We'll see.

No walking for me yesterday. :-( No sleep, either. My CKD was really bad. Oh, well. Today's a new day for Daily Strength.
mujicaptsd
I only got 2.1km of walking in yesterday, but it's a start. I hope to match that much today as I work toward my 3km daily walking goal again.

For the first time all week, I met my daily walking goal of 3km per day--and more: 3.11km. I had a rough week with CKD neuropathy pain in my legs from that pdoc's overprescription of Seroquel for my PTSD nightmares. It took a lot to get back up to speed this week, so to speak.

The CKD neuropahty pain was back yesterday. I got 2 km of walking in with a lot of suffering to match it, not 3. I'm glad I got that much still.
mujicaptsd
I'm so proud. I did get up to 3.o3km of walking in yesterday. Yay!
Rizen
I haven't been very good about walking this week but I did walk a mile the other day and 4 miles today.

I couldn't walk yesterday because my PTSD symptoms flared up with such panic attacks that after lunch I vomited 3 times. That left me too weak to walk. I skipped supper but got back to eating breakfast and lunch today so I'm about to head out of the house now to see about walking my 3km goal today.
