I'm trying to exercise daily. I was doing fairly well until I sprained my ankle 2 weeks ago but now I'm getting back on the horse. Today I walked over a mile with my arm weights that are about 22lbs total. I was out of shape and it was hard on my arms. I also did my 30 situps.
I'm also going to drink a lot of water and try to eat healthy. I do tend to have a sweet tooth but I'm cutting back.
Walking greatly improves my mental health too. I'm feeling less irritable and depressed after walking.
I want this to be a support thread for people who exercise and eat healthy so if you do any of that post here!

I did my walk, too, Rizen. As for dating, it's been 10 years since I had a date now. I went out for lunch with a mixed group of men and women friends yesterday instead, though, and had a good time.

Did my walk again last night at the time I hate it the most, when it's darkest and coldest after a long hard day's work. I was so tired after work I took 2 naps--one before dinner and one after. But walking did the trick: when I weighed myself to check my weight loss maintenance since December 2018's weight loss stomach surgery, I'd lost another pound. Walking works, Rizen!

It's been really cold out so I paced around inside tonight.

Good for you for pacing inside anyway. Hope it's warmer today so you can get out and walk, Rizen. Me, I got my walk in last night, and lo and behold, when I weighed myself in the morning, it did the trick and kept my weight surgery weight loss stable. Let's keep going, ok?

Weather cut my daily 30 minute walk short to 15 minutes yesterday, but my daily morning weigh in was still a great one, I'm holding my weight down still since that Dec 2018 weight loss stomach surgery of mine. Did you get a chance to walk outside where you live?
Rizen
It's been bitter cold and snowy out but I walked a mile.
mujicaptsd
Good for you, Rizen! If you managed to walk a mile in that, then I'll get out for my walk here today, too.
Rizen
I walked 2 miles.

I did my walk, too, Rizen, but I gained a couple of pounds since day before yesterday. It's not lack of exercise, so it has to be what I ate. Hm.
Rizen
It was warmer today so I walked 3 miles.
mujicaptsd
Glad it got warmer for you to have a full walk. Here it got colder, Rizen, so my walk was actually in a snow fall. I'm glad I did it, though, because my weight went back down a pound, which means I'm back to maintaining my weight loss again. Whew, what a relief!

I am so proud of you. You are a role modle

It's back to snowing again but I walked 2 miles.

We got a break in the snow, so yesterday I got to do my walk without snow. I'd walked in the snow the day before. It paid off, rizen, I lost half a pound, so I kept my post-weight loss stomach surgery stable again today.
Rizen
I walked 2.1 miles today.
