No, this is not OT (Off Topic). Not for me, anyway. I believe a great percentage of my strictly personal psychosis spirals through the effort to find agreements between my physical senses and the words available to speak those physical senses. Trying to get my physical senses to align with words? Triple howl ouch! Please tell me how to be "Cool" in a Texas baked parking lot. Especially when walking past a snow country immigrant blasting their car AC in the attempt to pull it off. That is enough to make me wonder if we are looking at the wrong end of our vehicles for the source of global warming. Those AC compressors are HOT. Or is that "Cool" to the Cool Cats?
Despite my advanced years (no, I am not "Young at Heart." My heart is as old as the numbers on my birth certificate and I value my experience. Please don't youthenize me.), my memory continues to improve as I continue therapy work on my Trauma Induced Amnesia. I earnestly believe my memory functions are continuing to heal from the continued work. Proofs unavailable. With the continuing return of my childhood memories, I find myself wondering if my early speech defects really were psychosomatic. My ismic-hopping base conditioning (everything from Aetheism to Catholocism to Born-again-ism to Whateverism) contained quite allot of conceptual word plays. Enough to bash a child's faith that ice cream is yummy.
I started this post with a fair confidence that I had found the words to express this particular, strictly personal snotty knot. Now. . . Me duele a la cabeza. I am no longer so sure what I am reaching for. Words are failing the challenge again. Think I'll go back to Creative Writinc Class challenge of trying to describe the taste of strawberry ice cream to somebody who has never tasted a strawberry, milk or ice. My therapy journal contains more than enough to make a multiple volume book, if I ever gain enough stability to pull off the re-writes. I have been calling the still unpublishable works, "Know No Knot Not." Alas, I still can't read, much less edit my therapy journal without getting lost in flashbacks. Works in progress. . . Sometimes I call it, "Know No Not Knot." Or is that, "No Know Knot Not?"
Thoughts? Opines? Reality checks? Sense and sensibility? Padded cell?

Thank you, muji. I have never had the opportunity to discuss this within Jewish philosophy, beyond the generalized discussion of "Yahweh" and God which holds that the life essence of the universe is quite beyond words and we should not even attempt to reduce to a verbal expression.
But language is very organic, triggering organic processes through organic means. It is as secular as it gets. Our denial of it is potent enough to get highly educated and intelligent people skipping over the . . . ?processes? . . . and carrying on about flavors of ice cream and regional prides. Even linguists neither dispute or explore it. They just zero in on the metaphors, allegories and allusions I use in my ". . .effort to find agreements between my physical senses and the words available to speak those physical senses"
Sigh. Perhaps you hit on the essence with the Don Quixote reference. I's just a-tilting at windmills. Finding the fluency between senses is a highly personal quest, anyway. As Mark Twain put it, "There is nothing common about senses."
Where's my padded cell? Hope it is in a good neighborhood with quality ice cream and the mythical Dulcinea to bring it to me.
On many levels, I feel like I most trust communications with under-developed language skills. There are fewer AssUmptions when we cannot rely on well-practiced grammar.
