multiple episodes.....I'm not a weirdo!!!!
Yesterday I had the luxury of a lot of time to read posts on here.........for the first time in my life I didn't feel like I was a weirdo......when I introduced myself I told you about what my dd's biological father had been doing to her, that's the worst because it's not me taking the pain....it's my kid....but my previous experiences have been signifcant as well......there isn't much that hasn't effected my family.....domestic violence, suicide by hanging, even torture and murder.........sometimes I haven't recovered from one load of trauma before the next one hits......but how do you tell 'normal' people that.....I worry that it ends up sounding like fantasy......surely no-one has a life like that !!!!! But we do.....and you guys are giving me the strength to stop covering up the events that have created the person I am....thank you

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...
My family looked good from the outside, but was anything but from the inside.
(((crybaby)))
My family tree has some seriously rotten apples/branches, and I get it.
I share your mistrust of, "Help." In my strictly personal observation, good intentions have paved far more roads to Hell than to heaven. Still. . . It really does take a village to live a healthy life and. . . Welcome to my healing village. You have already taken that difficult first step toward building a healing village of your own. The first step is the hardest.
Gentle support while you find your next step. Perhaps *just* another post. I likes itsy, bitsy baby steps for my own healing journey. Being a weirdo doesn't require living with relentless pain.
Sigh. . . Earth to Arfie. . . Earth to Arfie. . . Come in, Arfie. . .
I'm reviewing those well-intentioned souls who paved my roads to hell in an entirely different light these days. Maybe I can learn from their mistakes? Some days I even try to learn from my own mistakes, but learning from other people's mistakes is far less ouchy for me. These days I try not to call those well-intentioned souls mean names while I try to learn from them.
Prayers (by whatever name) in progress. Healing hopes for all. No exceptions.
In my own recovery, self forgiveness was/is all important to allowing myself to heal. It feels even more important in being supportive of my grandchildren and their parents.
