My least favorite chronic complainer is me. I can't tune myself out as easily as I can tune out the other chronic complainers in my life. Worse, I keep following myself around. I suspect I will follow myself into the afterlife with all the same complaints to whine about. When I try to "just get over it," it seems like I only turn myself into a time bomb. Gotta vent the stress, whether I can fix the stress, or not.
My two most present and chronic complaints today are:
1) People who get what they want, then complain about getting it. Eldest son (36, living here rent-free) has Narcolepsy and all the related sleep sensitivities, complicated by working the night shift. Whatever way we compensate for the yaddahs of those blahs, he will be demanding a new 4 fuck salute over it eventually. Do I have permission to act like I live here today? Yes, son, you have a right to your daily fuck off. Do you feel better now?
2) Fashionable/racial lateness. The grandson spent the night last night and was supposed be ready for church at 9:30. Mama's parents were 30 minutes late to the church wedding between her and my son. They call(ed) it, "La hora Mexicana." In my own Spanish, "La hora _____" is claimed by every Spanish dialect I have been exposed to. Ecuadorian time. Bolivian time. Mexican time. Etcetera, etceteri. Spanish sure has allot of distinct dialects. I tend to hang out with the Spanish speakers who roll their eyes at the tradition of, "La hora ____." "Sea puntual." The DIL claims to hate the tradition, but. . . The grandson was ready at 9:30, as scheduled. By the time the parental units arrived, already late for church, he was feeling lied to and not real open to giving it a second shot. That lady sure knows how to keep her fellas waiting.
Just venting. . . Don't like it any better than I did before the venting, but . . . Alas, I doubt either complaint is going away any time soon.
Anybody else have any chronic complaints in need of venting?

I did the dumbest thing today. I charged my earbuds, unplugged the block and put the block in my little bag instead of the earbuds. I wasn't happy about that when I got to the gym. What a dummy!
