Physical & Emotional Abuse Support Group
Abuse is a general term for the treatment of someone that causes some kind of harm (to the abused person, to the abusers themselves, or to someone else) that is unlawful or wrongful. No one deserves abuse, period. Abuse can be emotional, physical, or sexual.

I admit I was in the wrong...
It was my friends birthday, and us girls went out this afternoon. I forgot to talk to my husband about it yesterday evening when I first got the text. There was a lot going on yesterday too... Church. Supper. Kids. Homework. Bedtime. I texted H as 6 to see if he was home yet. He was. One son needed picked up from practice and one needed to be dropped off at practice. There was supper to heat up.
When I got home later I realized he had emailed how frustrated he was. He had plans for the evening. Plans of doing his own thing, plans of working in the back yard and running here and there. Now he couldn't do them because he had to do my stuff. He could have told me no. I would have found my kids rides to and from practice. Not a big deal but dad was home. I honestly didn't think it was a big deal. But. I did apologize for not telling him about it sooner. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it sooner. I'm sorry I forgot about it and didn't think to mention it sooner.
But that wasn't good enough. He was mad at me because I didn't ask his PERMISSION to go. Yes. He used that word. Permission. And that I act just like our teenager and I purposefully don't tell him about these things so I don't have to ask for permission. (Yes his words). He continues with that's what he always does...ask my permission before doing things... Uh no. He always drops things on me last minute. He only ask me when he wants to make sure there is no conflict with other things. Then he's mad because I refuse to apologize for not asking permission. He changes it to discuss. I should at least discuss it with him. I'm sorry I didn't talk to him about it. But no he wants the words. "I am sorry I didn't discuss this with you on time. I will do better at discussing things with you in the future". I had to word things just like he wanted. I'm not sure what would happen if I didn't. He would continue to tear me down..."let me get this straight you're telling me, I just want to make sure I understand that you are refusing to discuss with me your future plans." Until I can't take it and cave. And then....Go tell his church men how insubordinate his wife is.
And let's be clear... I still have to clean up form supper and make the kids get ready for bed. Etc.
He was also mad because I told him something silly my son wrote at school about how awesome his muscles are. He wanted me to punish my son for bragging by making him do 50 push-ups.
I'm not sure I can take it much longer. I'm sorry. I know this is just a crazy rant. Maybe better as journal. But I needed it out there.

You get fined by him and do chores for him for money? Justa...he looks at you as his possession, same as my STBX. Your life really sounds like slavery to me. He has way too much control, and he is a tyrant. If a counselor says you are the abuser, find another counselor!! Move through the fear of counseling and you will wonder why you didn't start sooner. Really.....hugs to you. You can do it....
