Hi all!
I was talking to a friend on DS today who has been recently dx-ed. She used to work out and be quite active. I myself was fairly active. Both of us literally stopped our "regular" life and activities closely following the mention of MS by a Physician. I was VERY glad to hear it wasn't just me. It seems as if when I left the doctors office I began LIVING MS. Can anyone relate?
Hugz all!

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

{{{hugs}}} "began living MS" is such a powerful statement. It's not the best place to be but where you are in the diagnostic process its really the only place I could imagine you being.
Good luck.

Anyhoo...I guess at the moment, I'm just LIVING!
I really did have to live MS for a while, but the symptoms were so bad I did not have a choice. I was kinda in denial too for a while, especially because my family did not think I had it.
However I have lately been paying attention and learning a lot more. I am still active till I get knocked back. When I saw my old Neuro (before I changed)---she said "So you find yourself so consumed with the MS that you are finding it hard to function--" I said, "No I am having trouble functioning cause I can hardly freaking walk straight cause I have the MS, and I am really tired."
Geez---anyway, yes and no. I have been on both sides.
