In hospital

Letting you all know that I am basically offline from now. My foot became so painful that I couldn't walk at all so came into emergency on Friday. I was admitted fairly quickly & in a ward that night which is amazing.

I will be in here till at Thursday. Looks like it is nerve damage -st lather Eric nerve dystrophy, so it is a matter of trying to work out what drugs make it bearable. Also kohl's diseae caused by steroids grrr.

Will be thinking of you all. Take care.

Sue i was only thinking of you last week. Being in Melb etc. I am sorry to read this and hope they get the meds and healing sorted so you are on the way to recovery. Sending hugs and support xo

Thanks everyone. I appreciate the messagess&hugs. Still in hospital. In a single room as I have a hospital acquired infection too (can't remember) which means they all gown up etc to come in. Have got a portable DVD & the iPad which help but still bored.
The dr's are trying to control the pain with tegretol increase at present which is making it numb or painful by turns. Still can't walk wit

Well, isn't that the way! If you're looking for a good infection, look no further than the nearest hospital. Sorry they had to add that little stinker onto your other problems.

You said you have your DVD and iPad there but are still bored. Is there a TV in your room? That may not be much help either. I know the hospitals here in the states don't have too many stations available. Some have a book cart that they roll around so you can check out books to read.

    I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital.  I don't think that we will have her much longer.  She is very frail.  Now she needs help eating.  So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying.  I think crying releases toxins into my body.  I also worked up a sweat at the gym...
