My husband always says that email is a bad way to communicate. He has a point because you can't read the sarcasm, or intent or meaning behind the message.
I said in another thread information is based on what is best for the reader, if it is not good for you than move on.
This goes for both sides. In a more detail explanation on what I mean there is...Hear the bold statements, because I think they need to be said, and you just don't have to agree but definitely don't be sorry for how you feel or what you want to talk about. keep talking!!!!
I responded to your chocolate because it did get me thinking and wondering. I was being sarcastic because I don't know what sets me off and hear it all the time from family, well maybe it is this or that. And I believe that food is an issue. The A-K response was what I needed.
I am glad you responded to me because there was no malicious intent and this has been very informative and educational.
I am definitely not into Scientology but I do need to be more of an advocate on listening to what my body needs. This has been good to push me in that direction. Again, I believe that a healthier body with help the meds work better.
Lets keep the boldness rolling, it sparks explanation and educational information.
I know they have checked my platelets with the blood tests & havent said anything about them but they have said that because I have been on the methylprednisolone end jan/early feb & before that at the end of November that it would have thinned my blood & be why I am bleeding heaps too. It is good to get other ideas too of things that could cause problems & even though its not chocolate for me it is more the acidic or spicy food that can cause problems for me.
Thanks again everyone
Sue
However, since 2003 I no longer test Allergy to Chocolate/cocoa and it blew my mind. It STILL kills me though, on A-K and in practice.
Someone told me to try DARK chocolate, the darker the better. So I had FUN doing that.. had a SMALL piece every day for a week. Then I got hit with the worst VERTIGO attack EVER!
Wasn't sure if it wasn't just a coincidence so I waited 6 months being better and had some MORE 70% DARK for a week and the room was spinning again.
Takes a while to hit and a while to resolve, but if I enjoy walking straight without spinning around in circles, I have to avoid cocoa. and I'm NOT allergic to it any more, according to blood and prick tests.
still poison to me
