Hi Guys have not been here for awhile.
Typing is hard for me to do & I feel like a wrung out cloth.
It is hot & humid here very humid. I keep myself cool. I have A/C in my room cranked up to high it is lovely in my room. They now have the A/C on in the therapy room. I hardly go outside & when I do it is the cooler evening I go out with my cool-vest on.
So my ? is does the humidity effect you? make you tired\??
I am sleeping 8-10 hrs/ night & need to take naps during the day.
I do not do that much here at the hospital I even stopped my PT as it was making me to tired. the last time I did it I feel asleep on the bike.
Thanks for any help

Usually I get a daily influx of emails on health topics. An article from Dr. Mercola really stood out recently though because it mentioned that fat cells have their own mitochondria. Not only was this the first I'd heard of this, he also mentioned that fat serves a purpose in our metabolism. Another new factoid for me. The bottom line for me was to appreciate that even our fat cells play a...

I just do not feel well and I really think that it's because I cried yesterday on my way to work about my Aunt who is in the hospital. I don't think that we will have her much longer. She is very frail. Now she needs help eating. So, this is the third time in a year that I felt this way after crying. I think crying releases toxins into my body. I also worked up a sweat at the gym...

On just hot days I can usually last longer chewing on ice, but add the and the ice doesn't even help.
The only way I can deal with it is to create my own climate controled space and ride it out. (Fortunately it's winter here in Oz- although I am now finding getting too cold has it's issues too!!)
I wish you well .... hugs

Thanks for bringing this up. Something more to think about and to be aware of.

Back in the primitive days of medicine they would put you in a hot tub and if you come out wobbleing you probably had MS. Happened to me years ago in mexico on vacation I got out of a hot tub and was stumbling around. Was OK before I got in.
Ice and cold showers..
Stay well!
I am so sorry that you are in the hospital. Really sorry to hear that. Yes, the humidity is a killer for me. I was doing OK but the humidity in the last few days has really taken a bite out of me.
